Methodology: how fields are verified

Every tool card has six blocks: pricing, access and authentication, coverage, capabilities, interfaces, and open source / self-hosting. Each block shows a “verified on” date and the URL of the page the facts were read from.

Sources

We read vendor-owned pages first: the pricing page, documentation, terms and the public code repository. Third-party reviews are not used as a source for facts.

Unknown means unknown

If a fact is not stated on an official page, the field says “unknown”. We do not fill gaps from memory or assumption. “No” is used only when the source clearly says so or clearly shows the feature is absent.

Freshness

Pricing and limits change often. A date on a block is the day we last read the source, not a guarantee that nothing has changed since. Always confirm on the vendor page before you buy.

Capabilities vocabulary

Capabilities use a fixed vocabulary (for example price-data, backtesting, order-execution) so cards can be compared. A capability is listed only if the official source describes it.

Derivatives data topics

The funding rate, open interest and liquidation guides list a provider only if its official docs, product or pricing page names that dataset (capability tokens funding-rates, open-interest, liquidations). A listing says the dataset exists, not how deep, how fast or which exchanges it covers; check the source link on each row.

Ordering

Lists are alphabetical unless a page says otherwise. Nothing on Tokvane is ranked by payment, and there are currently no paid placements or affiliate links.

Hands-on testing

The current data is desk research from official pages. We have not hands-on tested these tools and we do not claim to.
